Your Account Settings give you control over your Brand DNA experience. Customize your profile, manage preferences, control notifications, and configure security settings to match your workflow.

Profile Settings

Basic Information

Name, email, profile photo, and bio

Company Details

Company name, industry, size, and website

Time Zone

Set your local time zone for scheduling and timestamps

Language

Interface language preference (English, Spanish, French, German)

Updating Your Profile

Navigate to Settings

Click your profile avatar → Settings in the top-right corner

Edit Profile Information

Update name, email, or upload new profile photo

Optional: Add company info to help AI personalize recommendations

Security Settings

Password Management

Change Password

Settings → Security → Change Password
  • Current password required
  • New password must be 8+ characters with uppercase, lowercase, number

Password Requirements

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • At least 1 uppercase letter
  • At least 1 lowercase letter
  • At least 1 number
  • Special characters recommended
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (10 rounds). We never store plaintext passwords.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Enhance account security with 2FA:

Scan QR Code

Use Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password to scan QR code

Enter Verification Code

Enter 6-digit code from authenticator app

Save Backup Codes

Download and securely store 10 backup codes (use if you lose device)
Pro Tier and above: 2FA is required for team accounts and API access.

Delete Your Account

Permanent Action — This cannot be undone. All data will be deleted within 30 days.

Navigate to Privacy Settings

Settings → Privacy → Delete My Account

Confirm Deletion

Enter password and type “DELETE” to confirm

Cancel Active Subscriptions

Subscription automatically canceled, no refund for partial period

Data Deletion

  • Account data deleted immediately
  • Analysis history deleted within 7 days
  • Billing records retained for 7 years (tax/legal compliance)
Alternative: Downgrade to Free tier instead of deleting (Settings → Billing)

Generate API Key

Settings → API Keys → Create New Key

Give it a descriptive name (e.g., “Production Server”, “Testing”)
